EXCLUSIVE: In what would mark the first time the two A-listers have shared a screen together, sources tell Deadline that Robert Pattinson is in negotiations to star opposite Jennifer Lawrence in the thriller Die, My Love, which Lynne Ramsay is directing. Ramsay also co-wrote the script with Enda Walsh.
Set in a remote forgotten rural area, the story follows a mother who struggles to maintain her sanity as she battles with psychosis. It is unknown who Pattinson would play.
Justine Ciarrocchi and Lawrence (through their Excellent Cadaver banner), Martin Scorsese and Andrea Calderwell are producing with Black Label Media financing.
Pattinson’s been on quite a run that started after landing a starring role in Christopher Nolan’s Tenet opposite John David Washington. He followed that by landing the starring role in Matt Reeves’ The Batman. Warner Bros was so impressed with Pattinson’s work in that film that it tapped him to star in Bong Joon Ho’s Mickey 17, which bows next year.
Pattinson is repped by 3 Arts Entertainment, WME, Curtis Brown, and Sloane, Offer, Weber and Dern.
